Star Cluster Mini Quilt

I had posted a teaser photo on IG at the beginning of the Mystery QAL #2 hosted Tracy of It’s a T-Sweets Day! and Cindy of In a Stitch Quilting.

Here is my finished project, a mini quilt called “Star Cluster” a pattern available on Threadbare Creations.

This mini wall hanging measures 16”x16” and packs a lot into it’s tiny size. I have it as a wall hanging in the living room. I’m so pleased with how it turned out! 🌟

I have just returned from a family vacation in Ireland. We had intermittent wi-fi connection so I just decided to take an internet hiatus. Surprisingly no withdrawal symptoms were experienced and it felt nice to be in the moment; enjoying family, the welcoming  people of Gort, Co. Galway (pop. 3,000) and the beautiful country.  Next project will be to share some photos of our adventures there.

I can’t believe how much has been going on in quilting blog land in just over a week. I’ll be making my rounds and cant wait to visit with you all!

  2. Hi Abbie,
I saw this on IG and didn’t even realize it was this mystery fabric!! So cute and I absolutely adore this mini. I would hang this in my sewing room in a heartbeat, so if you get tired of it you know where to send it for a visit! Happy Saturday! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. This blcok is so sweet! I am glad you had a lovely time in Ireland, but also glad you are back. There is always a lot to catch up on, I skip a whole bunch of other people’s blog stuff and just dive back in – otherwise I’d feel swamped. Be kind to yourself and carry on!

  4. Ireland! Fabulous! It’s jealous I am, too. =) I really like your Mystery QAL #2! That was a great plan. I’m not a fan of actually using small pieces myself, but I love to see what other people do with them. LOL
