Hello! It’s month three of the Barn Quilt BOM from Sherry Shish of Powered by Quilting.
This month you will make 16 blocks that will be in the four corners of the quilt. The pieces are made from Half Square Triangles (HSTs) and the Stitch and Flip technique.
These blocks designed by Sherry are so pretty! I’m all caught up and excited to keep on sewing this quilt.
Again, this month chain piecing is an essential time saver and helps keep your piecing progress organized. Chain piecing is a technique to sew your same set pieces continuously in an assembly fashion with out having to stop, lift the needle, cut the thread and them start again with a new set.
The Barn Quilt BOM pattern is written and designed by Sherry and is available for purchase for $20.00 by clicking below:
What I love about this pattern is it guides you step by step, no guess work at all. It is easy to follow with written and illustrated directions.
Sherry’s pattern is a confident beginner level and with help through the entire process! Sherry will have a newsletter, blog post, and live video on the Powered by Quilting Quilters Facebook Group each month.
