The end of Segment 3 signals the Finale of the QAL By the Sea! It has been a fun nautical journey with all of you!
For my quilt top, I started by adding a 1″ border around each block in alternating theme colors blue and torquise (Kona Solids) and pink and purple (Moda Grunge Seeing Stars.)
After that I am have a 3″ border with the Moda Grunge fabric aptly named (for this quilt!) Clear Water.
My 3″ pinwheel blocks accent the outside border.
I’m going to complete my quilt using the Quilt as you Go (QAYG) method, row by row. Please be patient with me while I compose a separate blog post detailing this and more accurate setting directions.
I have my supervisor on the job now!

Great setting! I love the alternating colors for the frames and the windmills for the cornerstones.
